Ellen Greenwood is an urban planner and President of
Greenwood & Associates, a private consulting firm specializing in
environmental and sustainability strategies. Ellen has over 20 years of
wide-ranging experience in planning, project implementation, government
relations and public policy, communications and marketing. She has been
instrumental in helping both government and business clients carry out their
initiatives and achieve their project goals.
Ellen's record of success is built on her strong
belief that it takes effective communication, consistent outreach and committed
partnerships to establish sustainable technologies, projects and communities.
Her proven skills in assembling partnerships and building consensus among
diverse parties are a key facet in reaching the desired goals and objectives.
Ellen also serves the environmental business community
through the Ontario Environment Industry Association (ONEIA), as Vice-Chair of
the Board and Chair of ONEIA's Communications and Program Committee.
Ellen serves her local community as Board Member and
Past-President of the Moore Park Residents' Association. She is also a Public
Member of the Council Board and Chair of the Discipline Committee with the
Council of the College of Medical Radiation Technologists of Ontario.
